June is a month full of surprises, so expect anything! Mercury,the planet ruling communication, continues to retrograde until the 19th resulting in confusion, delays and technical difficulties. During these three week periods, plans never seem to materialize exactly the way we imagined. The key to overcoming the chaos is to rise above it. Practice enjoying the present moment and remember the old adage that "this too shall pass." Socializing and friends occupy a good deal of attention.  The New Moon in Gemini on the 3rd is right next to Venus. This set up makes it much easier to have loving and cooperative relations. The power energy brought about by the Sun and Moon together brings about an ease in manifesting wishes and goals. It is important to make a wish list including items relating to travel, siblings, communication, writing and/or love. The Summer officially begins when the Sun moves into Cancer on the 20th, the Summer Solstice. Unlike the sharp witted, high energy qualities of Gemini, Cancer is  calming, soothing, home oriented,sentimental and nurturing. The Full Moon in Sagittarius occurs on June 18th at 1:30pm edt. Pluto happens to be right next door resulting in some heavy and possibly abusive energy. See how some of the news headlines inform us of injustice as well as discriminiation.  The Moon and Pluto are opposite the Sun and Venus making for a difficult environment to negotiate or follow through on plans. There will be some hard choices to make. Uranus turns retrograde on the 26th. The consequences of this five month period influence our thinking and view toward life. New perspectives are on the horizon. Great ideas, inventions and an heightened sense of idealism prevails. Detachments and separations can also occur.
